Guidelines for Teleconsultation using PlatoConnect
STEP 1 — Book Your Appointment
Contact our staff to schedule your teleconsultation. Appointments depend on doctor availability and your medical suitability.

STEP 2 — Add a Participant (optional)
- Max 2 people total (including patient).
- If someone will join, share their Name, Relationship, Contact, Email.
- We’ll email a consent form — please e-sign before your session.
STEP 3 — Platform & Privacy
- PlatoConnect is secure, private, and peer-to-peer.
- Sessions are not recorded.
STEP 4 — Confirmation & Setup
- You’ll receive an email invite link once confirmed.
- On desktop: Use Chrome or Firefox.
- On mobile: Install PlatoConnect (App Store / Google Play).

STEP 5 — Payment
- We’ll send a Credit Card Authorisation form by email.
- We charge on the day of consult.

- Please show a valid photo ID (NRIC, Work Pass, Passport) for verification.
- Your doctor will review symptoms, history, and next steps.
STEP 7 — After Your Consultation
Our team will follow up on:
- Prescriptions / medication
- Care plan & next appointment (if needed)
- Any outstanding billing

Who is suitable for teleconsultation?
Patients with non-emergency concerns. Your doctor will assess suitability. For emergencies, call 995 or visit the nearest A&E.
What if I have technical issues?
Try re-joining, switch to Chrome/Firefox, or move to a stronger connection. If issues persist, call the clinic and we’ll help.
Can I get medication after a teleconsultation?
Yes. Our staff will arrange collection or delivery where applicable.
How long is a teleconsult?
Typically 15–20 minutes, depending on clinical needs.
Can a family member join?
Yes — up to one additional participant (total 2 including the patient) with prior consent.
